Fully taking advantage of the knowledge of guest speakers is key. On January 24, our class had the privilege of listening to Karl Heine from Creative Placement. Karl spoke of the proper tactics on how to obtain a new job, and various other focal points about being a designer in general (see image)
On February 7, Breanna Clemens of Survey Sampling International spoke to us about her role as the Manager of Global User Experience. Since traveling is a passion of mine, I found it fascinating that there are over forty offices across the globe. After her presentation, Breanna gave us excellent feedback on our logo sketches. It was really reassuring when she spoke of how we all have potential, especially since she is a QU IDD alum!
